New Delhi: The Indian Air Force is significantly strengthening its maintenance network by combining domestic manufacturing with advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins and 3D printing. Around 930 Indian companies with expertise in mechanical, electrical, electronics and rubber manufacturing are currently contributing to the IAF’s maintenance requirements. The initiative is aimed at reducing dependence on overseas suppliers and protecting fighter operations from disruptions in global supply chains. Team Goemkarponn PORVORIM: A heated exchange took place in the Goa Assembly between GFP MLA Vijai Sardesai and Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho over the allotment and transfer of industrial plots by the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). Sardesai alleged that 326 IDC plots were transferred between 2021 and 2026 under the Ease of Doing Business initiative, claiming that the process caused an estimated loss of ₹61 crore to the corporation.
