PANAJI: Congress’ Aldona MLA Carlos Alvares Fereira on Saturday came down heavily on BJP supporters on Electoral Bonds.
He said that despite having been exposed to the great loot via Electoral Bonds, shameless BJP spin masters are at work, to fool people that they got the lowest amount of money in the bonds!!
“One such tactic is dividing the amount with the States (28 states 8 UTs) and comparing with one regional party in only one state and claiming that this regional State party got more money!!!,” Carlos wrote.
He said even more bizarre is the technique of dividing the amount they received by the number of MPs and claiming that other political parties got more.
“…And what is worse is that such posts are being shared by highly educated people in the BJP!!!,” he stated.
Would they then want us to believe that the entire amount should be divided by the population and claim that the BJP actually got nothing and that the people got the money? He asked.
“BJP and its bhakts need to stop these lies. Stop spreading distortions. If you made a mistake, own it up. This was no mistake: it was a repeat of Hitler’s Nazi style of taking control and then changing laws to suit themselves and then claiming that all had been done legally and which they hoped would stand the scrutiny of law,” he said.
This time, he added, in their greed, they miscalculated.
“As the skeletons tumble, those who were chased by ED or IT or CBI or other Central agencies, and who contributed to this fund “generously”, are all being exposed and so is the BJP which is getting slapped on its face, with each exposure!,” Carlos said.
“Common sense matters, doesn’t seem to exist in the BJP, just misconstrued ideologies to split the nation, even by the educated lot! Don’t fall prey to this illogical nonsense,” he said.
