PANAJI: All liquor outlets and premises permitted for the sale of liquor in packed bottles or for consumption will remain closed across Goa on Friday, October 2, on account of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.
The Office of the Commissioner of Excise has issued the notification to all liquor licensees and the general public, directing that the concerned premises remain closed for the day.
The closure will apply to establishments involved in the sale of liquor through packed bottles as well as those serving liquor for consumption.
