CALANGUTE: Calangute police lodged the first case for breaking the law during the 15-day curfew, which was announced yesterday.
The Calangute arrested four person, which included a history-sheeter at Porvorim police station.
Calangute PI Nolasco Raposo said that the four arrested were – , Krishna Savlo Naik – history sheeter of Porvorim police station, who is also involved in assault and attempt to murder, Vaibhav Lotlikar, his wife and another lady from Mumbai.
Raposo said that while the four have been bailed out their Maruti Swift car has been attached.
“The four were loitering on the beach without any reason,” he said.
The PI said that the drive of registering cases of those violating law will continue till the curfew is in force.
“The Government Administration very serious about bringing the COVID19 situation under control and hence we will be taking strict measures to see that the orders are implemented. I again urge people to stay home and help government,” Raposo said.
