PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant met with MGP leader and Minister Sudin Dhavalikar on Wednesday to discuss future collaborations as the two parties prepare for the 2027 elections, which are nearly two years ahead of schedule.
Dhavalikar was present at the pivotal meeting that Sawant convened regarding the BJP organizational elections.
Sawant told reporters that Dhavalikar attended the meeting because he is a coalition partner. He added, “We also talked about 2027 polls and future alliances.”
The BJP and MGP fought together in the 2022 elections. Currently, MGP has two MLAs.
