PANAJI: Goa government has announced that it would run a special train for pilgrims from the State who are going to Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh Mela.
The itinerary and reservation information will be released this week, according to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. “A lot of people want to go, but they can’t because of the high cost of the air and rail,” he remarked.
According to Sawant, devotees who intend to visit the Mahakumbh would be eligible for discounted tickets.
In the days ahead, Sawant and his Cabinet are also anticipated to take a holy bath at Triveni Sangam, according to information obtained.
More than 102 million devotees have already taken the famed snan at the sacred Sangam during the Mahakumbh celebration, which is displaying a spiritual zeal unmatched in recent decades, according to the UP government announcement.
With an estimated 45 crore attendees, this magnificent assemblage continues to exceed expectations. Russian, Ukrainian, and international devotees were among those present.
