HARVALEM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Shri Girish Chodankar, along with GPCC Working President and MLA Shri Carlos Ferreira, visited the Rudreshwar Devasthan at Harvalem and offered prayers, in what is being viewed as part of the party’s renewed grassroots outreach strategy.
The leaders, accompanied by senior Congress office bearers and workers, sought blessings of Lord Rudreshwar for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Goa.
While the visit was religious in nature, politically it is being seen as an effort by the Congress leadership to reconnect with local communities and strengthen its presence at the booth and constituency level through cultural and traditional engagement.
Shri Girish Chodankar said the party remains committed to serving Goa with dedication while staying rooted in the state’s cultural and spiritual traditions. He emphasized that Congress continues to draw inspiration from Goa’s heritage in its public service approach.
Party insiders indicate that such visits form part of a broader strategy to rebuild organisational strength at the grassroots level and reinforce visibility across key constituencies ahead of upcoming political developments in the state.
