PANAJI: JCI (Junior Chamber International, year of establishment 1972) PONDA which is in its 49th year conducted a special program “Smiles and Joy” at various places in Ponda recently.
JCI Ponda members, Vice President Akshay Patil, Janhavi Naik, Past President Sneha Naik, Muskan Naik, and Lawrence along with other members went in different areas of Ponda feeding the stray dogs.
The next day, JCI Ponda appreciated health care workers working day and night at Sub District Hospital Ponda by distributing veg / non veg food packets.
JCI Ponda also visited people living at Wanarmare (A tribal area near Bethora). Over there donated clothes and distributed food packets to people.
Currently Varun Pandey is President of Jci Ponda. The whole intention of program was to bring Smile and Joy on faces, with learning – don’t wait for others to start or join. Do your bit every day. Spread smiles. Service to humanity is best work of life.
