PANAJI: MajheApp, a Goa-based superapp developed by GraceFulGoa and operated by KTCL, is set to launch in June 2026 with two flagship services aimed at modernising public transport and local mobility in the state. The app will introduce Goa’s first fully digital KTC bus booking ecosystem along with Pilot, a bike taxi service designed to support Goan pilots.
For the first time, KTC commuters will be able to book bus tickets through QR codes, recharge their KTC Smart Transit Cards, check card balances in real time and track buses live. The live tracking feature will allow passengers to monitor bus locations before purchasing a ticket as well as after booking to know the estimated arrival time. MajheApp has entered into a long-term agreement with KTC to provide these digital services across the state, from Pernem to Canacona, with the aim of reducing cash transactions and eliminating queues.
The app will also launch the Pilot bike taxi service, which seeks to address the challenges faced by local pilots who often spend long hours waiting at designated stands for passengers. Under the new system, registered pilots will be onboarded onto the platform and receive ride bookings based on their location, allowing both residents and tourists to book a bike taxi through the app while providing pilots with more consistent earning opportunities.
According to the company, MajheApp is being positioned as Goa’s first true superapp. Beginning in July 2026, it plans to roll out more than 70 additional services in phases, including 15-minute food and grocery delivery, 24/7 medicine delivery, electrician, plumber and carpenter services, telemedicine, physiotherapy at home, tutoring, yoga and other essential services.
Sharing the vision behind the initiative, Rebekah Lobo, Co-founder of MajheApp, said the platform was created by Goans to simplify daily life while supporting local communities, particularly KTC commuters and bike taxi pilots. Co-founder Samuel Timothy said the app aims to eliminate the need for multiple applications by bringing a wide range of services under one platform. He added that unlike many delivery platforms that depend on centralized dark stores, MajheApp plans to partner with local shops so that customers can order directly from businesses in their own neighbourhoods, thereby supporting local commerce.
The KTC QR ticket booking, smart card recharge, balance check, live bus tracking and Pilot bike taxi booking services are scheduled to go live in the third week of June 2026. The app will be available on both Android and iOS, with users downloading it before launch being promised exclusive early-access benefits.
