PANAJI: In a shocking incident, the rickshaw driver who was critically injured in the accident at Nuvem 2 days agao has succumbed to his injuries at Goa Medical College (GMC).
Abdul Shaikh, the rickshaw driver, was returning from the Bhoma road after dropping off his passengers when the tragedy happened. Locals came running to the scene to see if anyone had died.
When the locals arrived, they discovered that the rickshaw driver was seriously hurt and promptly contacted an ambulance.
A high-speed car rammed into a rickshaw approaching from the other side and dragged it 10 meters away.
The rickshaw driver had sustained major injuries as it was dragged 10 meters further from the collision point.
