Panjim MLA Babush Monseratte on Thursday has been shifted to Goa Medical College for suspicious vertigo case.
St Cruz MLA Tony Fernandes, who was with the Panjim MLA, rejected chest pain and high blood pressure claims.
“The MLA had giddiness and as such the doctors at GMC suspect vertigo,” said Fernandes.
Fernandes said there was no information when the Panjim MLA would be discharged.
“You cannot say, his tests are on but only I can say is that it was minor issue and is stable now,” he said.
Monseratte defeated former BJP MLA Siddharth Kuncoliencar to win the Panjim bypolls. The Panjim seat was vacated after demise of later CM Manohar Parrikar.
