VASCO: Piped Natural Gas (PNG) pipeline work was launched in Vasco municipal area in the presence of Vasco MLA Krishna (Daji) Salkar on Thursday.
Officials said three schemes are available in South Goa with Rs.118 registration fees and the rest of the security deposit amount, which is refundable, said the DGM of project IOAG.
On Thursday morning, Vasco MLA Salkar commenced the Piped Natural Gas pipeline connectivity project in Port town. This project is believed to give cheaper, safer and uninterrupted gas to every household.
In South Goa, there are three schemes on this PNG; all these schemes could be availed by paying Rs.118 registration fee and the additional security deposit amount as per the schemes, which is refundable.
Deputy General Manager-projects Indian Oil-Adani Gas Pvt ltd Sachin Pathare informed that the pipeline laying work in Panaji, Ponda area has been completed and gas connections have been given whereas in South Goa, at Zuarinagar MES college area, Vasco the work of laying pipeline has commenced.
