PANAJI: BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade today said Congress President Girish Chodankar should come clear and name the minister involved in sex scandal while stating that CM Sawant wont hesitate to take action.
“Congress President is speaking without the relevant proof. He is just speaking in thin air. He should come out clear and name the minister involved in the sex scandal. He should also name the victim,” said Tanavade
He further said that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will not hesitate to take action against the concerned minister.
“There is no point in aimless firing in the air. If the Goa Congress president is aware of the alleged sex scandal, then he should reveal the name of the minister in the interest of the people of Goa,” said Tanawade.
The Congress president has set 15 days deadline to take action against the Minister failing, which has threatened to approach appropriate authority.
Not paying much attention to the mere allegations of Congress, Tanawade further revealed that some more Congressman may join BJP.
Speaking on elections, Tanavade said that BJP will get full majority in the 2022 elections.
“Our Election Incharge Devendra Fadnavis is in talks with MGP for an alliance and we will let u know in due course what happens. But we already have a B plan. BJP always is ready both ways,” he said
The BJP meanwhile today formed a 15 member Election Committee with Vinay Tendulkar as its Convenor and Narendra Sawikar as CO-Convenor.
Further, Former CM Laxmikant Parsekar has been made the Comvenor of the Manifesto committee.
