Panaji: Following largw number of cases reported, the North Goa Collectorate had decide to seal the Ritz Classic Building on 18 June road.
Thw norification by Collector Ajit Roy said. “there is a prevailing sination in the country due to the Health Emergency posed by COVID 19, an infectious disease caused by Corona Virus, Also, it has been made to appear to the undersigned by the Health Officer, Urban Health Centre, Panaji that a large number of cases have been reported from the visitors to one restaurant and there is a need for sealing entire premises of Hotel Rita Classic Building, Floor, Wagle Vision, 18 June Oman Panaji in Tiswadi Tuluka in North Goa District being vulnerable to the spread of the disease,” it says.
Further, it says. in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 30 and Section 34 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and under provisions of Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 road with The Goa Epidemic Disease COVID 19 Regulation, 2020, ” I, Ajit Roy, L.A.S., District Magistrate, North Goa do hereby Seal entire premises of Hotel Ritz Classic, Building, 1st Floor, Wagle Vision, 18th June Rs, Ozari Panaji in Tiswadi Taluka in North Goa District w.e.f 18/03/2021 for all purpose and objectives prescribed in the protocol of COVID-19 to prevent ita spread in the adjoining areas:”
The Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tiswadi shall be overall-in-charge for scaling of the Premises and Maintaining Law and Order Failure to comply with this Order shall be violation of the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and shall be liable for punishment in terms of provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
