Margao: In a tightly contested match, Sao Jose de Areal secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Parish Youth Nuvem, advancing to the quarterfinals of the 1st Vauradencho Ixtt Trophy 2025. The decisive goal came in the 48th minute, courtesy of David Colaco, which sealed the fate of Parish Youth Nuvem. The game, organized by Batora United Curtorim in association with Margao Sports Club, was held at the DSYA ground in Curtorim on Wednesday.

Early in the game, Niclau Colaco of Parish Youth Nuvem initiated a promising attack with a long-range pass to Shubert Colaco, who fired a shot that hit the crossbar in the 10th minute. The award ceremony was also attended by Roque Carneiro and Frankly Rebello.
