During the press conference, Sankalp in possesion of the evidence released whatsapp and audio clips between the victim and Minister Milind Naik to the press and media.
“I am ready to get arrested and i will also be happy to sit in the jail. I am speaking the truth. Why should i suffer, and the minister enjoy. I will not go for an anticipatory bail,” said Amonkar
He further said that he has only shown some chats and audio clips to the media as rest of the clips, pictures are not good to be in public domain.
“All chats related to abortion are submitted, there are 35 audio clips which are not to shown in public,” he added
Sankalp said the the audio voice has been modulated and the identity of the victim has been hidden as per legal advices.
“Allegations will be done on me from now but i am not scared as i am speaking the truth. There have been allegations on me that i have paid and what not,” he added
Meanwhile, Goa Congress Vice President Sankalp Amonkar lodged a complaint against the minister at Women Police Station in the city.
“The victim is poor and will i do extortion, this is completely unjustificable; i am thankful for me to open up this sex scandal infront of the public,” Sankalp said
He claimed that he had submitted all the evidence against the minister to the police and sought a thorough investigation into the case.
On the other hand, an FIR has been filed against Mr Amonkar at Mormugao Police Station in South Goa on the basis of a zero FIR registered at Bettiah Police Station in Bihar.
It may be recalled that on November 30, Goa Congress unit president Girish Chodankar, while holding a press conference, had accused a Goa minister of sexually abusing a woman.
He had also claimed to have evidence in the form of a video. He had also given an ultimatum to remove the minister within 15 days from state CM Pamod Sawant.
Goa CM Pramod Sawant had announced his dismissal from the cabinet after allegations were proved against his minister over Girish Chodankar’s statement.
He had assured strict action, in any case, asking him to produce evidence. According to media reports, the victim herself has now come to the fore in the case. She is said to be a resident of Bettiah in Bihar. The victim has dismissed the allegations of sexual abuse against the minister.
