PANAJI: Starting today, tourists entering the state must produce COVID-19 negetive certificate obtained 72 hours of travel or full Vaccination certificate.
The order issued also states that people of Goan origin and those coming to the state for work purpose or medical emergency shall be exempted.
“Residents of Goa, on production of proof of residence,Persons entering in Goa for work, on production of workID proof/ letter from employer have been exempted,” the order states
It further states that Persons entering in Goa for a medical emergency, on production of proof or coming in ambulance also have been exempted.
“Failure to comply with this Order shall be a violation of the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and shall attract penal action as per law,”
