PANAJI: State government today issued order listing activities which would be open and closed during the 15 day statewide curfew starting from tomorrow morning. Only additional restrictions which are imposed through this order as compared to the previous order are: Fish market and municipal panchayat markets to be closed, shops selling essential commodities to remain open from 7 am to 1 pm only.
Weddings which were permitted with 50 or less guests as per previous order have not been mentioned in this order. Hotels and Hospitality sector is only allowed for in-house guests/residents/staff .
THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES/ ESTABLISHMENTS/ FACILITIES/ EVENTS SHALL REMAIN CLOSED :
a. Casinos
b. Bars
c. Restaurants, however restaurant kitchens will be allowed to provide home delivery/ takeaways anytime
d. Shops except as at the point no 3 below
e. Sports complex/auditoriums/ community halls or similar places,
f. River cruises/ waterparks/ entertainment parks,
g. Gym/ spa/ massage parlours/ saloon,
h. Cinema halls, theaters, multiplex, entertainment zones within Shopping malls
i. Swimming pools,
j. Schools, colleges, educational and coaching institution, except for examinations of college students.
k. Religious places for the public, however the custodian of such establishments may carry out regular activities
l. Weekly market, fish market and municipal panchayat market
THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES WILL BE PROHIBITED
a. Social /political /sports/ entertainment/ academic/ cultural functions and other congregations except for events with the permission of the government, however cremation with people or less will be permitted
b. Gathering of five or more persons at public places except for official function or with permission from DM/ SDM
c. *Interstate movement for tourists from May 10 onwards (people who are residents of Goa or are entering Goa for work or who have with them full vaccination certificate or covid negative test report for a test done maximum of 72 hours prior to entering in Goa will be permitted)
d. Use of buses except for people going for duty purpose and medical emergencies, with a maximum capacity of 50%.
THE FOLLOWING SHALL BE EXCEPTIONS TO ABOVE RESTRICTIONS/ PROHIBITIONS AT POINT 1 AND 2
a. Shops selling medicines/drugs and related activities
b. Shops selling groceries, eatables, animal fodder, Public Distribution Systems, standalone liquor shops and outlets (take away only) may remain open from 7 am to 1 pm , (however the home delivery except for liquor will be allowed anytime)
c. Banks, insurance, custom clearance, ATMs microfinance institutions etc.
d. All medical and health services/ institutions (including AYUSH and veterinary hospitals and laboratories) to remain functional
e. Operations of home for children/disabled/mentally challenged/ senior citizens / destitute /women/widows
f. Observation homes, after care homes and places of safety for juveniles etc.
g. All facilities in the supply chain of essential goods whether involved in wholesale or retail of such goods through local stores, large brick and mortar stores or E-commerce companies
h. Cold storage and warehousing services
i. Canteen/restaurants on the premises of establishments permitted to remain open and mainly catering to in-house staff/residents
j. All industries/ factories and other related activities
k. All constructions and related activities including repairs
l. Agricultural and related activities
m. Essential offices such as central and state government offices, their attach and subordinate offices, PSUS, courts and their related activities, local bodies and their related activities functioning of airport and railways and related activities
n. Public utilities such as petroleum, CNG, PNG, LPG, Power generation and transmission units, post and courier offices, water , sanitation and related activities including vehicle repair, hardware shops etc.
o. Hotels and Hospitality sector for inhouse guests/residents/staff
p. Print and Electronic media and related activities
q. Telecommunication and internet services and related activities
r. LPG cylinder services
The following advisory is issued for strict compliances
a. All non Government employers are advised to actively plan for and promote work from home for employees working in their shops/ establishments /factories and physical presence should be sought only if essential
b. All employers should enforce staggered timings for arrival and departure of their employees
c. All employers are advised to ensure that employees with symptoms like cough, cold, fever or if they are short of breath etc. are to remain home and take appropriate medical care
d. Crowding in lifts, staircases, corridors, common areas including refreshment kiosks and parking areas is to be strictly avoided
e. Divyangs and parents with children having special needs adviced to work from home
