PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today informed that two oxygen plants will be set up in Goa under the Prime Minister Cares Fund of which one plant will be functional within the next 15 days.
“Setting of two oxygen plants has been granted to Goa by PM Cares fund in of which one plant to come up in 15 days,” said CM Sawant
He said that this was being done in order to avoid shortage of oxygen in the state.
CM Sawant taking a dig at the opposition said that instead of giving suggestions to the government on Covid management they were criticising.
“I am still requesting the opposition not to do politics over the COVID-19 pandemic; give the government suggestions,” he said
He also said that imposing a lockdown is not a solution but will impact the economy widely.
“I appeal all those above 18 years should get themselves vaccinated to reduce mortality,” he added
Sawant also informed that the new super speciality hospital would be launched on May 15 and would be immediately converted into Covid Hospital.
CM said, “the mining industry would be restarted in Goa with help of Goa Mining Corporation,”
