PANAJI: The High Court of Bombay at Goa today has granted bail to the accused Prashant Dhabolkar and Iqbal Nanpuri in the Vilas Methar Murder Case.
Earlier, HC had granted bail to accused Shailesh Shetty in the Vilas Methar case over a personal bond of 50 thousand rupees.
It may be recalled that Vilas Methar was waylaid and set ablaze on the afternoon of October 14, at Torda, Porvorim. Methar succumbed to the burn injuries at Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim a day later.
The six other accused arrested in the case are Santosh Pillai (29), Altaf Yargatti (37), Khayyad Sheikh (35), Pawan Badigar (30), Prashant Dabholkar (36) and Ikbal Nanpuri (31).
