Panaji: Jugglers, rhythmic drum circles and soulful musical performances will headline the unique Aguad Sunday Fete, set to be held against the backdrop of the historic Aguad Jail and Port Complex at Sinquerim on December 3.
According to the organisers, the event will feature performances by artists trained at the Wenjuggler, an elite adventure sports training centre in South Goa, renowned for their exceptional juggling skills.
The event also features the Drum Circle led by Jayesh, offering attendees a journey into the rhythmic world of the djembe, a traditional African drum. The Aguad Sunday Fest’s lineup is further enriched by the soulful tunes of Orville & Lourence Singer and the Serenaders and the mesmerising mime artistry of Drupad, in addition to the beats of Hapi Drums, which will add an extra layer of vibrancy to the entertainment.
The event promises an evening packed with entertainment, culture and delicious food, along with a diverse range of attractions, including caricature artists, flea stalls, and food and beverage stalls, offering a variety of unique, handmade products, while the Fete’s F&B partners, Uncle Tims, Fat Panda and Cream Choc will cater to the diverse palettes of the crowd.
Aguad invites everyone to come and be a part of this event, where the rich cultural tapestry of Goa meets a day of fun and entertainment in the shadow of the historic, centuries-old fort.
Attendees travelling from Panaji and surrounding areas can avail of a boat transfer from Panaji (Kala Academy Jetty) to the location for Rs 1000 per person, which is inclusive of entry to The Aguad.
