The Goa Forward party (GFP) has alleged major scam in the collection and treatment of bio-medical waste in the State. Former Chairperson of the Margao Municipal Council and GFP member Babia Prabhudesai has said that the State government has initiated a parallel process to collect and treat bio-medical waste without consulting the stakeholders through a Gurgaon based firm at a much higher cost.
