PONDA: in horrific accident yesterday the couple from Marcaim and their two year old child who were proceeding on scooter from Bondla to Usgao was miraculously escaped on injuries after speeding truck that was coming from opposite direction lost control and came towards them and fell on their scooter.
Luckily realizing that truck could hit them the couple jumped from scooter along with child and escaped on injuries and shifted to hospital, however scooter was crushed under truck.
The truck excels were broken and dislodged from truck. Locals shocked to see horrific accident.Police arrest truck driver for rash and negligent driving. The truck excel and tyre were dislodged.
The locals and passerby were shocked to see the fearful accident. Traffic jam witnessed after accident.
According to Ponda Police Wadalwada- Marcaim based couple Dinesh Gaude (39), Snehal Gaude(31) along with two year old child Ditya Gaude were returning towards Ponda on scooter from Bondla and when reached at Gaonkarwada Usgao the speeding truck moving towards Valpoi from opposite direction lost control on sharp turn.
